To quickly insert a symbol and then automatically return to the ABC keyboard, press and hold down the 123 button. Without lifting your finger drag to the symbol you want to insert and then release. You'll see that the desired symbol has been inserted and the keyboard has returned to ABC automatically. Clever eh?
3) It's good to accent n'est pas?
If you are inclined to type words of a non English variety then you will quickly find that you need to add an accent to certain words. To do this simply press and hold the letter that requires an accent and you will see a range of options displayed - simply drag and select the one you want and the letter complete with accent is inserted.
